You can add tags to your games and practices besides the tags that are created automatically (scores, fouls, ...). These tags will be helpful for your future analysis, either directly from the iPad App, or through the use of a third-party software.
There are several ways to add tags to your recording, each one of them requiring an iPad. Here are the two main ways to do so:
- Add tags live directly from your arena
- Add tags after the recording.
Before being able to add tags, on most situations, you will need your tagging grid to be configured first. The tagging grid should basically be a template of the different tags you can add: Pick&Roll, Defensive Rebound, etc. You can find more details about how to create your grid in this article.
Add Tags Live from your Arena
Go to the Keemotion iPad App. The tab called Tagging is useful whenever you are assisting an event onsite (game, practice) on which you would like to add tags.
Before adding tags, make sure the system will associate them to the right live recording! You can check that by simply looking the name of the recording on the top of the Tagging tab. If it is the wrong recording, select the right one by going to the Live Stream tag, pressing the top left button and select the right recording.
If you want to link a tag to a game phase you have just seen in the arena, simply tap on the appropriate tag on that screen - the number of the player can be associated to the phase if needed. The tag will be then associated to the game sequence that has been automatically created.
You can retrieve your tags afterwards:
- Under the tab Games of the iPad App (see this article to get info on that screen). More info can be found in that same article as well, under the section "Tag directly the Game Sequences".
- Using SportsHub, you can export tags if you want to use them for deeper analysis through SportsCode™. Relevant info is indicated at the step 5 of this article.
Tagging live only works if you are onsite! That means that you cannot do this if you watch the game remotely, even if it is "live", as there is always a delay between the actual game and its broadcast.
Add Tags after the recording
Tag while Watching the Full Recording
On the Keemotion iPad App, go to the tab called Live stream. First find your recording by selecting the league on the left panel, and your recording on the right panel. Once your recording has been downloaded, select it again to see the following two buttons displayed: . Tap on the left one to watch the full recording.
You will be then able to add tags that will be automatically associated to the phase you see on the screen. You can find more info on how to do this in this article.
